Reiki Certifications

Krista and Gypsie spent a lot of their time together at ATU researching the efficacy of reiki as a complementary and alternative medicine. We wanted to figure out what science says about how well reiki really works. We were pleasantly validated and happy to read what we already knew: that reiki is a powerful technique for promoting relaxation, stress reduction, peace, empowerment, and quality of life - all awesome and almost necessary requirements for optimal healing. An honest reiki teacher will not try to take credit for your healing or make you dependent on them. Similarly, the goal is not to replace your insulin or chemotherapy with a reiki session, we are simply creating a space to honor your nature so your body can do what it does best when it’s being loved well. We believe practicing reiki to be one of the greatest forms of self-care, and that’s one of the reasons we want to share it with as many people as possible.
