Our Story
Welcome to Psy-Chics. The dash is important. It’s the space between. The vision came in a psychology lecture at Arkansas Tech University, where Krista and Gypsie sat listening as their professor spoke about the psyche. Apparently psyche means soul. Krista’s jaw nearly hit the floor. Years of studying psychology, yet nothing had touched on the soul! In that moment, inspiration struck. Krista scribbled a note to Gypsie: “Psy-Chics. The space between. Where science and spirit come together.” She slid it over and whispered, “Our future shop.”
After earning an associate degree in criminal justice and a double bachelor's in psychology and sociology in 2017, they brought Psy-Chics to life as a family business in October 2018. Magic runs in their lineage, and the women had a vision: a space for metaphysical tools, resources, mentorship, community events, and spiritual services for all walks of life.
Psy-Chics has grown into a vibrant, inclusive community that empowers individuals to connect with spirit, heal through creativity, and embrace their true, authentic selves. We believe in the inherent power within each person to transform, create, and co-create a life they love. Rooted in compassion and creativity, we exist at the intersection of science and spirit, offering a space for personal growth, sacred service, and collective collaboration.
